Little Cat Lost follows Dot, a cat who is scared of fireworks and runs away to escape the noise. It teaches children the importance of communication and honesty.
It was early November, and up in the sky
fireworks banged, whizzed and popped.
Dot wanted to cry.
Dot, like so many cats, is terrified of fireworks.
But when she flees her house to escape the big bangs, she finds herself lost and alone. How ever will she find her way home?
With engaging rhyming verse and adorable illustrations, this book teaches children the value of communication and honesty - that it's ok to be scared, worried or confused, and to ask for help from others.

Sarah began her career as a veterinary nurse, before turning her hand to working for a veterinary charity, where she helped to teach pet owners and children about animal welfare. Keen to educate a wider audience, Sarah moved into marketing and education for veterinary practices. After re-igniting her passion for writing, she completed a Diploma in Copywriting in her spare time, hoping to combine everything she loves in one place: improving animal welfare, educating and engaging children, and being creative!
