Nacida en Inglaterra, me vine a Valladolid al terminar la carrera de Filología Francesa e Hispánica (Universidad de Cambridge) para impartir clases de inglés práctico en la Facultad de Filología Inglesa de la Universidad de Valladolid. Desde 1999, imparto clases de inglés a niños de Infantil en el colegio Narciso Alonso Cortés de Valladolid, colegio adscrito al convenio British Council/MEC. Al tener la suerte de no usar libro de texto, me he dedicado a inventar un sinfín de cuentos en inglés con el objetivo no solo de enseñar mi lengua materna sino de trasmitir valores y hacer que el aprendizaje del idioma sea una experiencia placentera. Además de profesora, soy formadora de profesores y escritora de cuentos infantiles y libros de recursos, trabajando principalmente con las editoriales CUP y OUP. Tengo, además, un canal de YouTube (Kathryn Susana Escribano) donde cuelgo vídeos en inglés para mis peques y sus papás.
