Jean Petersen is an award winning cookbook and children's picture book author, magazine contributor and weekly columnist with Western Ag Reporter. She and her family live on a small farm near the Beartooth Mountains outside of Red Lodge, Montana. Most days she can be found outdoors with their animals, on a hike, at her children's activities, and cozied up writing or reading a good book.
