Growing up on a farm was incredibly fun, but a lot of hard work. When Lorna Lovell Stallman wasn’t being chased by the family’s two sheep, she was trying to help with chores. Now married, Lorna has moved closer to the city, where she raised her daughter and son. She is still a farm girl at heart and enjoys including animals in her stories. Lorna resides in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, with her English setter Phoebe and ragdoll cat Indigo. Katrijn Jacobs is a Belgian illustrator who loves to draw. For her, drawing is the way to bring color into the world. She gets her inspiration from her surroundings, people, emotions, animals, and plants. She transforms these things into playful, cheerful illustrations with a high sensitivity factor. She also works on art projects, murals, and personalized illustrations. Katrijn has already illustrated picture books for several publishing houses.
