Her other great passion is football and she is a lifelong, dedicated supporter of a team who don't win very often. Susana Gurrea (Illustrator) Susana is an illustrator from Barcelona, Spain. She studied illustration and comics, later receiving a postgraduate degree for Children's Publications from the Eina University School of Design in Barcelona. Her work has appeared in early reader books, educational manuals, children's magazines and non-fiction books. Her art features bright colours and dynamic characters. She is inspired by nature and her son, and lives with him and her husband in a small village in the countryside, not far from Barcelona. When she's not drawing she really enjoys traveling, reading, playing with her son and having family meals. She is a quiet person who enjoys the little things in life.
