Teresa Bellón was born in Albacete, Spain and studied illustration in Madrid. Today, she works for national and international clients and has had several exhibitions of her work. Her illustrations feature reduced colour palettes and simple compositions. Teresa doesn’t stay at home waiting for inspiration to strike; she sets out to find it, travelling, buying illustrated books and wandering the streets of Madrid to get ideas. She is the illustrator of many children's books including the Ready, Steady, Race series for Macmillan Children's Books, and the Little Green World series for Campbell Books.
