Two non-fiction books in one, one looking up into the sky, the other down to the centre of the Earth.
Go star-spotting, find out about cave-dwelling creatures, and discover a whole world of fascinating information about our planet in this gorgeously illustrated two-in-one book about the world.
Read one way, Up and Down focuses on what’s up above us – clouds, stars, the Sun and Moon and things that fly. Then flip the book and read it the other way to find out what’s down beneath our feet – burrowing animals, the underground transport system, fossils, caves and the Earth’s core.
Colourful illustrations by Dawn Cooper bring a multitude of vivid scenes to life, from the inside of a volcano to birds flying in bright blue skies, while expert text from Jane Burnard and Tracey Turner helps inquisitive children learn all about the natural world.
