At first, the kids thought this was a random coincidence, but thanks to the former toymaker Mister Paul, they learn that’s likely not the case. The theme park FUNTASTIC PLAINS may have a motto of “where fun lives,” but the enamel pin crew thinks it just might be where fun goes to die. They’ll need to work together to find the elusive Pin Maker and discover the secret behind their superpowered pins . . . before there’s way more than just four kids with superpowers.

Briana Lawrence has wanted to be a "WRITTER" since she was nine years old. Her fourth-grade class laughed and wondered how one hoped to become a “writer” if they couldn’t even spell the word. Briana graduated from Iowa State University in 2006 and moved to Minneapolis with her partner. Today, she is the senior features editor at Crunchyroll. Fantasy Pin Adventures is her debut middle-grade book series; she also is the author of Essential Guide to Manga and the self-published series magnifiqueNOIR. Briana lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. Joanna Cacao is a Canadian-Filipino author and illustrator who lives in Winnipeg with her grumpy Pomeranian, Danny. She loves working on magical and fantastical stories.
