Little Rabbit is fed up with being told off and decides he'd be better off living on his own. So he runs away from Mama and Papa and starts building his own house under a hedge. Before too long another little runaway, Molly Mouse, appears and they decide that two runaways are better than one.

But soon after building their lovely new home, Little Rabbit quickly discovers Molly Mouse is a bit of a bossy boots and keeps telling him off - just like Mama and Papa. Then Molly Mouse terrifies him with a scary bedtime story and all Little Rabbit wants is to be tucked up safe and warm in his real home. Luckily, Mama and Papa know exactly where to find him and come - along with Molly Mouse's mama - to take him home.

Harry Horse has written and illustrated several children's books - including The Last Gold Diggers, winner of the Smarties Gold Prize, The Last Polar Bears and The Last Cowboys. There are two Little Rabbit stories and Little Rabbit Lost won The Scottish Arts Council Award. Harry has been political cartoonist for The New Yorker, The Guardian, Scotland on Sunday and The Scotsman and is now focussing on his children's books. Harry lives in Shetland with his wife Mandy, his dogs, Roo and Chiquita, Steve the cat and six chickens.
