Having been completely bored by some unimaginative and starchy stories his granddaughter brought home from school, Michael Mackriell decided to write Eleven Quirky Bedtime Stories to promote laughter, amazement, disbelief and explore the amazing realm of imagination where anything and everything is possible and where people, animals, situations and objects inhabit a world with no boundaries. The stories are imaginatively illustrated throughout by Robert Page.

Michael Mackriell is a retired builder with a great imagination and a sense of humour. Robert Page lives and works on the Suffolk coast. Since graduating in design he has worked as a freelance illustrator, specialising in children's fantasy/folklore stories.
