First counting book for young children

I was inspired to take up painting as a complete beginner during the 2020 pandemic. The arrival of my first grandchild, Naarah, presented me with the perfect opportunity to channel my efforts into something that I could share with her as she grew. I painted a series of images for a number counting book, some of which have deep meaning within my family. The book can be used as a first number primer for adults and young children to read together. Enjoy.

Hi, I'm Sharron. I'm not an artist by profession but what I do have is passion and a desire to be creative. As a child, I didn't have the opportunity to develop my artistic side so as an adult I've taken every opportunity to explore this area of my personality. I learnt RAD ballet in my 40s and took grades up to level 6. I was new to tap dancing two years ago which I thoroughly enjoyed, but this was curtailed by the Pandemic. So, I took up weight training, art and learning to play the guitar.I live life by the mantra, "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing," by George Bernard Shaw. So, just give it a go. Don't say, no I can't. Say, yes, I can.
