Ben Long started a career in science and turned to rhyming verse to entertain himself on the daily train ride to the office. With a background in music, he enjoys writing stories that are fun to read aloud. This is Bens third picture book. He lives in Brisbane with his wife and two children. Author and/or illustrator of five CBCA Notable Books, Andrew Plant is an internationally published creator of picture books for children from preschool to secondary school. He loves stories that are unusual and challenging and look at the world from a different angle. He is passionate in encouraging children to fall in love with books and reading. He also designs and paints theatre sets and murals, and so rarely has a brush out of his hands.
