Clare is a former primary school teacher, turned children's writer, and is a passionate advocate for mental health. Clare teaches picture book writing for WriteMentor and City Lit, and enjoys inspiring writers to achieve their dreams. She lives in Devon with her husband and two children. Ashling Lindsay is an illustrator and storyteller from Belfast, Northern Ireland. New to the picture book world, her debut work has already been nominated for the prestigious CILIP Kate Greenaway Illustration award, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and long listed for the Klaus Flugge Prize.
