John Schindel got his start in children's media in film production, and has gone on to write more than twenty books for young people. Among them is the fourteen-book BUSY series of photo-illustrated board books about busy animals, which he created with Tricycle Press. He lives in Oakland, California. Molly Woodward has always made a beeline for the kids' section of the bookstore, because that’s where the fun is. She followed this love to children’s publisher Tricycle Press/Random House, then to nonprofit publisher Heyday, where she edited books for all ages. Now she works for herself, helping people craft stories across media. Molly and her family frequent their library in Martinez, California.
