Michael Lawrence is the author of The Caterpillar that roared (DK, 2000) in the Share-a-Story series. He began his career as a painter, but his talent for writing quickly became apparent, and he has written for a variety of publishers including DK. He lives in Cambridgeshire. Illustrator, Adrian Reynolds, received much acclaim for his illustrations in Baby Loves. He is also the illustrator of Silly Goose and Daft Duck Play Hide-and-Seek by Sally Grindley (also in the Toddler Book Series).
