As a science teacher at an excellent secondary school in London, education plays a big part in Emma's life. Having taught in a variety of schools, she was inspired to write this book based on her pupils' different scholastic experiences. Prior to being a teacher, she worked for a global management consulting and professional services firm, in which she was a project management analyst for the retail sector. However, as clichEd as it sounds, she was eager to make a difference to children's lives and dusting off her Chemistry degree, she returned to academic life as a teacher and has since never looked back.
