Carmen Saldana (Illustrator) Carmen Saldana lives and works from Gijon, a rainy little city in the north of Spain. After studying Arts and working as a graphic designer, Carmen became a full-time illustrator and has worked on a whole host of picture books. She has a passion for furry animals and is inspired by everything in nature.
