Young children will enjoy the repetitive language and the humorous growth of Blue Fox's name in this appealing tale of an envious fox who always longs for what others have. It explores the ideas that the grass is not always greener on the other side and that it's wise to appreciate who you are.

Does your name suit you? Blue Fox prefers everyone else's names. So when he meets Ripple Frog, Maple Squirrel and all the other animals, they give their names to him. As Blue Fox's name grows longer, confusion reigns! Will Blue Fox keep this strange new name? This story teaches us that if your name belongs to you, then it is already the most beautiful name.
