Autor

Clement C. Moore was born in New York City in 1779. A professor and writer, he is best known for this poem, which he wrote for children in 1822. Originally entitled 'A Visit from St. Nicholas', the poem soon became better known by its famous first line: ''Twas the Night Before Christmas'.
