Cape Town-based Lindsay Norman has been involved in educational publishing for three decades and is passionate about child literacy. She is a founder member of Hwange Schools Project, a non-profit organisation that promotes literacy in a number of schools in Zimbabwe. The Elephants are Coming! and Aunt Alice and the Lion are her first children's books. Izak Vollgraaff is a Cape Town-based illustrator, painter and art teacher. His work has been featured by most of southern Africa's major publishing houses. Izak's fascination for Africa - its cultures, nature, wildlife and people - finds expression through his art.
