Our world is full of bizarre and amazing natural phenomena. Sundogs, moonbows, rock formations, ice circles - all are fascinating and look incredible, but how do they occur? These books look at the science behind some of these amazing natural phenomena. There are many amazing sights to be seen in the sky. In the daytime there may be unusual cloud formations, rainbows and moonbows. At night you might see a comet, meteorites, or the Aurora Borealis. The Science Behind Natural Wonders in the Sky looks at some of these phenomena, explaining how and why they occur.

Some of Allan Morey's favorite childhood memories are from the time he spent on a farm in Wisconsin. Everyday he saw cows, chickens, and sheep. He even had a pet pig named Pete. He developed a great appreciation of animals, big and small. Allan currently lives in St Paul with his family and dog, Ty, who keeps him company while he writes children's books.
