Mandy Stanley studied at Great Yarmouth College of Art and Design, and gained a degree in fashion at Nottingham Polytechnic. As well as her work as a book illustrator, Mandy is a designer of baby toys, clothing and products and has worked with Mothercare, Boots, Ladybird, Sandviks (Norway), HarperCollins and Bloomsbury. Her bold, humorous illustrations for Kingfisher's I Can series and First Word Book show a real flair for giving preschool toddlers the clarity and fun they love.
