A warm and witty look at the way a child ‘hears' its family

Beautiful art and strong text make this the perfect read-aloud picture book for the very young. Includes a wonderful bonus CD read by the author
Baby is busy doing all the things that babies love to do, like exploring the kitchen, chewing up newspapers and climbing up too high. But members of his family aren't quite as positive about his antics as he is and there are lots of cries of 'No, Baby, No!'

However, one day Baby does something really special and everyone celebrates with quite a different refrain.

Grace Nichols was born in Georgetown, Guyana, and has lived in England since 1977. She has written many books for both children and adults and has won, among other awards, the 1983 Commonwealth Poetry Prize. She was poet-in-residence at the Tate Gallery, London (1999-2000). Grace Nichols performs her work internationally and is one of the poets on the UK national curriculum. Eleanor Taylor lives in Wareham, Dorset, with her husband and three young children. She is the creator of Beep, Beep, Let's Go, as well as the artist of No Trouble At All, written by Sally Grindley. She also illustrated Run, Rabbit, Run, for which she won the English 4-11 Award for the Best Children's Illustrated Book of 2001.
