U.S. Army General Dwight D. Eisenhower first entered into the public eye during World War II as the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe. Burton I. Kaufman is adjunct professor of history at the University of Utah and former dean and professor of history and interdisciplinary studies at Miami University of Ohio. Diane Kaufman is a former teacher who began working at libraries in 1985. Her last position was head of the Western College Memorial Archives at Miami University of Ohio.
