This newly expanded and revised edition features two new chapters on the Salem Witchcraft frenzy of 1692 and an account of the Pequot War and the death of Narragansett sachem, Miantonomo. In addition to the two new chapters, Enemies of the Bay Colony has been updated to include recent scholarship.

Philip Ranlet is Adjunct Assistant Professor of History at Hunter College. Dr. Ranlet holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University. He is the author of The New York Loyalists and Richard B. Morris and American History in the Twentieth Century both from the University Press of America.
