And some inherited altars of marine covenants where ancestors went to the water gods to seek longevity, wealth, influence, or protection, ignorant of the spiritual cost on their unborn generational line.
Which some are tired of managing. Some are discouraged. Some feel helpless. And some, out of desperation, begin to seek help from prophets, herbalists, spiritists, or foreign powers forgetting that the moment you consult another altar, you become tied to that altar.
