What if our entire understanding of Antiquity is a fabrication?
In The Resurrection Code, history analyst Mario Arndt challenges the foundational pillars of Western chronology. He begins by dismantling the legend of Emperor Augustus, arguing that Rome's "Golden Age" is a fiction. Arndt presents compelling evidence that Augustus is a "phantom", a brilliantly placed placeholder at the beginning of the Christian era. He is designed to create an 800-year historical precedent for the medieval emperor Charlemagne.
The deception, however, runs even deeper. Arndt applies this same "History Hacking" method to the most iconic figure of all: Jesus Christ. He demonstrates that the New Testament Jesus is a literary construct, a "doubled Jesus" based on the Old Testament warrior Joshua.
The "Resurrection Code" of the title points to the stunning, real-life model for the resurrected savior: the Byzantine Emperor Anastasios I, whose name literally means "The Resurrected One". It was his successor, an emperor named Peter (Justinian I), who truly founded the Christian church we know today.
Arndt systematically dismantles the official timeline. This book is a radical rewriting of history, arguing that "Antiquity" as we know it was fabricated centuries later to legitimize medieval power.
