Dr. Li-Yu Chen is a Professor at the Department of Chinese as a Second Language, National Taiwan Normal University. Her research focuses on different aspects of Business Chinese, and she has been the author of numerous published articles and book chapters on the topic of cross-cultural communication, materials developments and evaluation, and teacher training for Business Chinese. For more than a decade, Dr. Chen has served on the editorial board for Taiwan Journal of Chinese as a Second Language (臺灣華語文教學研究), and she was also Executive Editor of the journal for some time. Dr. Chao-Mei Tu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chinese as a Second Language, National Taiwan Normal University. She has also been the Associate Director of the Mandarin Training Center, National Taiwan University since 2015. Dr. Tu’s research focuses on Chinese for specific purposes, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and Content-Based Instruction (CBI).
