To fully understand the Bible, we need to understand the places in which its stories are set. With full-color maps, illustrations, and photos, this interactive workbook helps you deepen your knowledge of the geography of the Holy Land to enrich your study of the Bible.
The stories we read in the Bible didn't happen in a vacuum or on a soundstage. They happened in real places, in real time, to real people--and those people were formed by the places they lived. Each subregion within the land of Israel shaped the human experience in distinct ways, which in turn shaped the stories recorded in Scripture. So to fully understand the Bible, we need to grasp the geographic nuances of the Holy Land's thirteen unique subregions.
This interactive workbook helps you deepen your knowledge of the geography of the Holy Land to enrich your study of Scripture. With map exercises, multiple choice and personal reflection questions, illustrations, full-color photos, and more, The Holy Land Workbook is a rewarding learning experience that fosters in-depth Bible engagement and helps us make sense of the stories God was telling about himself, his people, and, ultimately, you and me.
