This book aims to bring together theoretical and practical elements in presenting the most modern and innovative approaches to flexibility of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) protocols. Therefore, understanding cultural differences in the interpretation, communication and attribution of meaning to emotions is fundamental to the development of an effective and culturally sensitive therapeutic relationship. Cultural humility also implies being aware of one's own cultural limitations and prejudices, and being willing to question them.
