Hera Oktadiana is a postgraduate academic at the Trisakti Institute of Tourism, Indonesia, an Adjunct Associate Professor at Griffith University and James Cook University, Australia and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Brawijaya, Indonesia. She is also the founder of the Halal, Sustainability and Inclusive Tourism (HaSIM) Forum and Muslim Women in Tourism and Hospitality. Her research interests include tourist behaviour, Muslim tourists, Halal and Islamic tourism, tourism education and sustainable tourism.
