The subject of his studies are the Pleistocene and Holocene vertebrate faunas of peninsular Italy and Sicily.Dr Letizia Silvestri is an Archaeology Curator at the Sovrintendenza Capitolina of Rome and a Lecturer at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", specialising in Mediterranean Pre-Protohistory, Bioarchaeology, and Public Archaeology.
