Many of the existing translations are nearly one hundred years old and often either exclude material or skew the translation to fit the mores of a more Victorian audience, while this one stays as true as possible to the source material.

Morgan Daimler is an author and folklorist. She is a prolific writer, having published more than a dozen books under Moon Books alone, and she is one of the world's foremost experts on all things Fairy. She lives in CT, US.
