LET GOD ARISE AND LET MY ENEMY BE SCATTERED.

May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him. May you blow them away like smoke as wax melts before the fire, so the wicked perish before God. But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him; his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 68:1–5.

This is a powerful declaration of God's might and justice. The psalmist makes us to understand a vivid contrast between the fate of the wicked and the joy of the righteous. In prayer and in words the phrase "May God arise, may his enemies be scattered" echoes a military tone, calling to mind a victorious king leading his people. We have a king who is there for us. There is a voice of reason that God play in our life. It’s a reminder that God doesn’t take enemies for granted. He arises to defend his children in the midst of battle. He actively moves against injustice and protects those who trust in him.

The wicked shall be "blown away like smoke" and melt "like wax before the fire." The enemy is a lightweight before God the Supernatural Heavy weight. For the reason that he is with us, we can’t be defeated. Anything blown away like smoke can’t be gathered anymore. It foretells it scattered and what melts away suggests it loses its originality. What loses its originality scatters as well. Enemy can be blown away by prayer and melt like wax before fire prayer as well. The composition of enemies is altered and scatters. When God arise for your sake enemies will surely scatter. The moment the gang of enemies scatter; their joy scatter as well. At this point the joy of the righteous increased. Their joy is rooted not in circumstances but in the nature of God himself

It is of you to sing songs of joy to the Lord. Be in happy mood and sing to God, sing in praise of his name. The table has changed; walking in the valley is ended. Honor God who rides on the clouds. Enemy won’t hold you down or naked you. Hold on to God who lifts and promotes. You must call for God to manifest his presence and power, to take action on behalf of you because he is the ultimate source of strength and protection. His presence and power will cause those who oppose God and you to be defeated and dispersed; and for this their opposition will crumble and be overcome.

When do we apply this phrase, let God arise and let enemy scatter? It can be applied in the following times and manner.

It can be applied as personal prayer: You ask God to intervene in your life and defeat opposition or personal challenges. By this you surrender everything to him.

The book of Exodus 14:14 promise us, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” This is a fact because the enemy comes in many forms, each wearing a different mask of menace. Some come roaring with fury, their voices loud with threats, boasting boldly of your demise. They seek to shatter your spirit and halt your progress, determined to snatch away the dreams you hold dear. Their presence is like a storm, relentless and unforgiving, testing your will with every step you take. When storms arise, whether in the sky or in the storms of life, your God shall silence them with his mighty power. No matter how fierce the wind threatens or how high the waves crash, his peace will calm the chaos around you. In the quiet moments of rest, even within your dreams, his hand will guide you through, turning fear into faith and doubt into victory.

It is written in the book of Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Whether the tempest rages in your heart during the night or threatens your path in broad daylight, God is there to bring stillness. Whether you find yourself battling challenges in the vast ocean of life, navigating the unpredictable seas of emotions, or facing pressure and trials in the office or daily work, you will overcome. The strength that comes from God empowers you to rise above every obstacle. The Lord is there to silence your enemy and scatter them. No matter where you are or what surrounds you, his presence is your anchor, steady and sure. With him, victory is certain, and the storms whether external or within are silenced, leaving only triumph in their wake. You will triumph anywhere you go, you will triumph in your home, triumph in your office and triumph before your enemy.

These foes are not just mere challengers; they are hunters on a fierce pursuit, eager to overtake you at every turn. They attack what you rightfully earned, desiring to divide your spoils and steal your victories with the sharp edge of their swords. Their intentions are clear to disrupt the path laid out for you and to drown your light in darkness. Yet, their threats only fuel the fire within, forging strength where doubt once lived. Victory is not far from you; it is like the sun just beyond the horizon, patiently waiting to rise and warm your world. It is your rightful companion, as familiar as the steady beat of your own heart. Victory will not be a stranger in your home; instead, it will settle in like a trusted friend, filling every room with light and hope. Like a mighty eagle, victory will lift you high, letting you occupy the mountain top of life, where the air is clear and the view stretches endlessly before you. When enemy sees this they know the Lord arise for you and they will scatter.
