Indem er das 'Buch' der Psalmen als Anthologie versteht und dessen Poetik paratextuell untersucht, liefert David Willgren eine Rekonstruktion der Entstehung des 'Buchs' der Psalmen und schließt, im Gegensatz zum kanonischen Ansatz, daraus, dass es nicht vorrangig den literarischen Kontext für einzelne Psalmen bietet.
