Heideggers "Schwarze Hefte" im Kontext
Mohr Siebeck (Hersteller)

The publication of the so-called "Black Notebooks" attracted special attention not just from within the field of philosophy, but also from beyond its specialized discourse. The texts contained in the notebooks, entitled "Observations" and "Reflections", divulge anti-Semitic resentments of a previously unknown poignancy and far-reaching repercussions for the evaluation of Heidegger's political position. This volume is a collection of new studies which were presented at an international congress held in January this year at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). The critical reading of the texts is connected with comprehensive questions on the interpretation and assessment of Heidegger's philosophy. The volume's contributions thus offer a sound philosophical contextualization and evaluation of Heidegger's notebooks.
