The Christ Cycle in Verse and 3D is a collection of sixty-five poems on the life and ministry of Christ with thirty-two images of sculpture, also by Toddy Hoare, as stations to be pauses for thought. They are there in tandem as hors d'oeuvres to prompt reflection and digestion of the Word made flesh. While this book does not require a theology degree to read it, it should appeal to those with one or those using the Bible for study, prayer, and worship, or as a resource for quiet days.

Autor

Toddy Hoare trained and practiced as a sculptor, served as a soldier with the 15/19 King’s Royal Hussars, and spent time with the Missions to Seamen in the Europoort, Holland, before ordination and twenty-five years as a rural parish priest in North Yorkshire (known locally as Herriotshire). He used sculpture to illustrate Scripture and theology. Latterly, on retirement, he reflected on life and where God was to be found with poetry, some based on peace studies in Oxford. He is now in North Yorkshire, retired from parish life.
