त्वं ह्यग्ने प्रथमो मनोतास्या धियो अभवो दस्म होता।

त्वं सीं वृषन्नकृणोर्दुष्टरीतु सहो विश्वस्मै सहसे सहध्यै ॥१॥

O Agni bright, the cosmic flame,

Through sacred might, through fortune’s name.

Let wisdom shine, let banners rise,

Through fearless hands, through fate’s ties. [1]

अधा होता न्यसीदो यजीयानिळस्पद इषयन्नीड्यः सन्।

तं त्वा नरः प्रथमं देवयन्तो महो राये चितयन्तो अनु ग्मन् ॥२॥

O Indra bold, through endless reign,

Through cosmic lore, through wisdom’s gain.

Let warriors stand, let voices cheer,

Through fearless hands, through fate sincere. [2]

वृतेव यन्तं बहुभिर्वसव्यैस्त्वे रयिं जागृवांसो अनु ग्मन्।

रुशन्तमग्निं दर्शतं बृहन्तं वपावन्तं विश्वहा दीदिवांसम् ॥३॥

O Maruts fierce, through sacred lore,

Through endless reign, through fortune’s door.

Let thunder roll, let wisdom shine,

Through fearless hands, through fate divine. [3]

पदं देवस्य नमसा व्यन्तः श्रवस्यवः श्रव आपन्नमृक्तम्।

नामानि चिद्दधिरे यज्ञियानि भद्रायां ते रणयन्त संदृष्टौ ॥४॥

O Varuna vast, through heaven’s might,

Through endless fate, through wisdom bright.

Let justice rise, let hymns resound,

Through fearless hands, through fate profound. [4]

त्वां वर्धन्ति क्षितयः पृथिव्यां त्वां राय उभयासो जनानाम्।

त्वं त्राता तरणे चेत्यो भूः पिता माता सदमिन्मानुषाणाम् ॥५॥

O Maruts bold, with cosmic grace,

Through sacred lore, through fortune’s space.

Let warriors charge, let banners wave,

Through fearless might, through fate engrave. [5]

सपर्येण्यः स प्रियो विक्ष्वग्निर्होता मन्द्रो नि षसादा यजीयान्।

तं त्वा वयं दम आ दीदिवांसमुप ज्ञुबाधो नमसा सदेम ॥६॥

O Indra fierce, with sacred lore,

Through cosmic power, through wisdom’s store.

Let hymns ascend, let warriors rise,

Through fearless hands, through fate’s ties. [6]

तं त्वा वयं सुध्यो नव्यमग्ने सुम्नायव ईमहे देवयन्तः।

त्वं विशो अनयो दीद्यानो दिवो अग्ने बृहता रोचनेन ॥७॥

O Maruts strong, through sacred might,

Through cosmic fate, through heaven’s light.

Let justice stand, let wisdom glow,

Through fearless hands, through fortune flow. [7]

विशां कविं विश्पतिं शश्वतीनां नितोशनं वृषभं चर्षणीनाम्।

प्रेतीषणिमिषयन्तं पावकं राजन्तमग्निं यजतं रयीणाम् ॥८॥

O Agni bright, the cosmic reign,

Through sacred force, through wisdom’s gain.

Let rivers roar, let voices cheer,

Through fearless hands, through fate sincere. [8]

सो अग्न ईजे शशमे च मर्तो यस्त आनट् समिधा हव्यदातिम्।

य आहुतिं परि वेदा नमोभिर्विश्वेत्स वामा दधते त्वोतः ॥९॥

O Maruts vast, the sacred might,

Through cosmic lore, through heaven’s sight.

Let hymns ascend, let voices rise,

Through fearless hands, through fate’s ties. [9]

अस्मा उ ते महि महे विधेम नमोभिरग्ने समिधोत हव्यैः।

वेदी सूनो सहसो गीर्भिरुक्थैरा ते भद्रायां सुमतौ यतेम ॥१०॥

O Indra bold, the endless grace,

Through sacred fate, through cosmic space.

Let warriors march, let victors stand,

Through fearless hands, through heaven’s land. [10]

आ यस्ततन्थ रोदसी वि भासा श्रवोभिश्च श्रवस्यस्तरुत्रः।

बृहद्भिर्वाजै स्थविरेभिरस्मे रेवद्भिरग्ने वितरं वि भाहि ॥११॥

O Varuna vast, through cosmic might,

Through sacred force, through wisdom bright.

Let rivers flow, let wisdom shine,

Through fearless hands, through fate’s design. [11]

नृवद्वसो सदमिद्धेह्यस्मे भूरि तोकाय तनयाय पश्वः।

पूर्वीरिषो बृहतीरारेअघा अस्मे भद्रा सौश्रवसानि सन्तु ॥१२॥

O Maruts fierce, with endless lore,

Through cosmic fate, through fortune’s store.

Let justice thrive, let blessings cheer,

Through fearless hands, through fate sincere. [12]

पुरूण्यग्ने पुरुधा त्वाया वसूनि राजन्वसुता ते अश्याम्।

पुरूणि हि त्वे पुरुवार सन्त्यग्ने वसु विधते राजनि त्वे ॥१३॥
