Zhanna Son, Ph.D. (2009), Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is Associate Professor / PhD (history) of Asian Studies at HSE University (Moscow, Russia). She has published monographs and many articles on History of Russian-speaking Koreans including Rossiiskie Koreitsy: vsesilie vlasti i bespravie etnicheskoi obshchnosti. 1920-1930 [Russian Koreans: the Absolute Power and Rightlessness of an Ethnic Community. 1920-1930] (Moscow, 2013); Issledovanie sovremennykh russkoyazycnykh Koreitsev.
