Throughout the book, Sussman covers the notorious murders and wars the mob engaged in from the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre to the Castellamarese War, even the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and shows how with each event the mob learned and changed to continue its reign of terror however it could.
Jeffrey Sussman is the author of nineteen non-fiction books, five of which deal with organized crime. He has appeared in documentaries, on podcasts, in television interview, and on radio speaking about every aspect of organized crime. He is regarded as a leading authority on organized crime and the Mafia in the United States. Jeffrey lives in New York City.
