Commander William C. Spears is an active military professional with a distinguished career in the United States Navy. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, the Naval Postgraduate School, the Air Command and Staff College, and the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy. His service includes operations in nuclear-powered submarines across a variety of classes and mission profiles, including duty as the Executive Officer of a Trident missile submarine. His hobbies include weightlifting, winemaking, and antagonizing his family with philosophical inquiry.
