Compendium for Greenlandic 1 is a textbook of Greenlandic. It is designed to be used at the beginners' courses offered by LearnGreenlandic (www.Greenlandic.dk). No prior knowledge of Greenlandic is required. The last part of the book consists of a series of tools, lists, and charts, including a mini dictionary, a short list of derivational affixes, and a collection of paradigms that are also useful for advanced learners.

This textbook contains largely the same material as the Danish version, Kompendium til Grønlandsk 1, 4th edition.

Liv Molich holds a master's degree in Greenlandic linguistics from Ilisimatusarfik / University of Greenland. She has contributed to the advancement of automated translation systems for the Greenlandic and Danish languages at Oqaasileriffik / The Language Secretariat of Greenland and has taught Greenlandic as a foreign language in Greenland and online for several years. Liv Molich is in charge of LearnGreenlandic GREENLAND who offers language courses and develops textbooks of Greenlandic.
