Walter R. T. Witschey, Ph.D. (1993) Tulane University, is retired Research Professor of Anthropology and Geography at Longwood University. With Dr. Brown, he is the co-author of Historical Dictionary of Mesoamerica, and is author/editor of Encyclopedia of the Ancient Maya. Clifford T. Brown, Ph.D. (1999) Tulane University, is Professor of Anthropology at Florida Atlantic University where he teaches archaeology. He has published two books, a score of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and over 30 technical reports on archaeological investigations.
