This research explores the intricate craft of puppetry in Bengal, concentrating on its substantial history, ethnic relevance, and aggravations forbidding its sustenance. A long- standing customary practice with roots in popular culture, puppetry has long catered as a captivating instrument of storytelling and recreation in Bengal. In this study, we will examine globalization, digital media prevalence, and the evolvement of dynamic cultural practice in art that has been alienated under the economic difficulties faced by traditional puppeteers. Based on field surveys, interviews, and detailed reviews in the literature, the research emphasizes the difficulties of puppeteers, including tribal craftsmen and women. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, the article examines puppet artists' socio-economic circumstances, innovative adaptation to modern demands, and the influence of media and technology on this art form. It discusses traditional forms such as Chadar Badoni as well as modern innovations of organizations that combine traditional and modern techniques to revive the art of puppetry.
