Water as a source of life serves as the link between the womens testimonies. The film targets students in the process of theological formation, groups working on the issue of overcoming violence, womens groups, ecumenical groups and Christian congregations. By tracing the spiritual journey of some outstanding women in the ecumenical movement, it can stimulate reflections on faith and the challenge to overcome violence today. A brochure with brief portraits of the women and questions for group discussion is included. Subtitles in English, French, Spanish and German. Approximate running time: 36 minutes.
