Pack of 5, flat laminated card versions of the plastic Numicon Baseboard. The decimal baseboard side is a possible representation of an expanded 1-shape that allows children to begin to explore decimals. Through carefully scaffolded progression, children can begin to use Numicon Shapes on the baseboard to represent decimal parts of numbers.
Numicon builds a deep understanding of maths through a multi-sensory approach, developing children's fluency, reasoning and problem-solving.
This pack of 5 Numicon Double-sided Baseboard Laminates are designed to be used with 5- to 11-year-olds (Key Stage 1 and 2 / Primary 1 to Primary 7).
An ideal accompaniment to the wide range of Numicon digital, print and physical teaching materials, these are flat, laminated card versions of the plastic Numicon Baseboard.
