The cards represent the 96 stones contained in the stone circle of Tamera (Portugal) (www.tamera.org). The stone circle of Tamera was built about 20 years ago, inspired by the ancient Neolithic stone circle of Évora (Portugal).
The development of stone circles was the work of prehistoric mankind. It reached its peak several thousand years ago, and remains of these circles can be found all over the world. It is still a mystery to us how our ancestors were able to construct such stone circles with their enormous structural challenges and with such astronomical precision, while leaving behind so few other material relics.
The findings of archaeologists and historians show that these ancient cultures were highly developed. They existed over long periods of time and had a deep knowledge of the functional logic of community and co-operation with nature. They worshipped a mother goddess and had a broad vision of peace.
Some believe that the stone circles were centres of world consciousness and energetically interconnected, forming a web of power around the earth. The stones were used to store and preserve peace knowledge that can be accessed again today.
The card set is a tool that can help to reconnect with the "higher self" and the wholeness of life. Each card gives an indication of where or how you can best position yourself in the community of life.
