The book aimed to address whether family of origin and religious practices are predictors of attitudes toward couple life transformation in college students from 5 private and 1 public university in Mexico. The results indicate that family of origin and religious practices predict attitudes toward couple life transformation in young Mexican university students. It was found that the higher the level of spirituality in the religious practices of the participants, the less openness towards the transformation of life as a couple, and vice versa. The young university students who participated in this study visualize marriage as part of their life plan, although they decide to postpone it for other life projects such as finishing their university studies and having a secure job.On the other hand, no significant differences were found in both religious practices and attitudes towards life as a couple, whether or not the students' parents were married. This reaffirms that parents are one of the strongest influences on the religiosity and attitudes towards married life of Mexican university students.
