Olajumoke Yacob-Haliso is Associate Professor of Political Science at Babcock University, Nigeria. She is co-editor of Women in Africa: Contexts, Rights, Hegemonies (2012), Gendering Knowledge in Africa and the African Diaspora (2017), as well as of three other forthcoming titles. She serves as Editor of the Journal of International Politics and Development and on the board and as reviewer for various reputable international journals. Her research has been supported by grants from the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, the International Development Research Centre, the University for Peace Africa Program, Association of African Political Science, among others. Toyin Falola is Jacob and Frances Sanger Mossiker Chair in the Humanities and a Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He is author and editor of more than 140 books. He previously served as President of the African Studies Association, and as Kluge Chair in the Countries and Cultures of the South at the Library of Congress. He is a Fellow of the Historical Society of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters. Falola has received various awards and honors, including honorary doctorates from Monmouth University, USA; City University of New York, Staten Island, USA; Lead City University, Nigeria; Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria; and Tai Solarin University of Education, Nigeria.
