Was bedeutet 'Gebet' in Barths Theologie? Das Gebet fungiert als anthropologische Basis der Theologie Barths, mit der Barth die göttliche Entsprechung zwischen dem Werk Gottes und dem Werk der Menschen artikuliert. Es wird sich durch die theologische Rekonstruktion von Barths Gebetsverständnis zeigen, dass die theologische Entwicklung von Barths Gebetsverständnis in der Tat die Entwicklung seiner theologischen Artikulation der Gott-Mensch-Entsprechung widerspiegelt, die in der Analogie-Auseinandersetzung exemplarisch und zugespitzt dargestellt wird. In der analogischen Rede spielt für Barth das Gebet in der Auseinandersetzung um die Begriffe analogia entis und analogia fidei eine so entscheidende Rolle, dass die Spannung von Gottes Werk und dem der Menschen ohne die Klärung des Barthschen Gebetsverständnisses ungelöst bleibt.

What is the meaning of "prayer" in Barth's theology? It is an anthropological basis in Barth's theology to express the divine correspondence between God's work and man's work. The theological reconstruction of Barth's conception of prayer shows indeed that the development of this conception reflects the development of his conception of the correspondence between God and man. In the debate about the terms analogia entis and analogia fidei and in view of analogical speech the concept of prayer plays such a decisive role for Barth that the tension between God's and man's work remains unsolved without a clarification of Barth's understanding of prayer.

Wai On Chan (陳韋安), Dr. theol., Jahrgang 1980, wurde in Hong Kong geboren. Seit seiner Promotion in Bochum (2013) ist er als Dozent für Systematische Theologie am Alliance Bible Seminary, Hong Kong, tätig.
